Hello to y'all.  I think that is how you say it down south.  I'm Kelly.  One of the "lively" ladies heading to your great state this weekend.  I feel honored to share in Randy and Lucy's wedding day.

So now here is where I'm looking for a little help.  We would like to go out in the evenings (of course after all of the wedding festivities wrap up).  Any suggestions on places to go?  Good music, a fun place to dance.

Please feel free to PM me with info.  I'm looking forward to heading south.  Have a great day!

Hi Kelly.  Maybe the Montgomery folks can give you some ideas.  I will tell you it ain't gonna happen in Luverne!!!  That is small town USA just like my little town Chatom!!  Look forward to meeting you this weekend.

If you are a "wee bit country" then head over to Dothan to Cowboys.  I haven't been there in ages as my boot scootin days scooted on outta here.  Actually I put the chickens to roost at night.  Party People   where are ya?

If you are driving South you will pass some beautiful scenery and see some wonderful places.  Then you will arrive in Luverne.  As we say in the South, it is betwix and between.  There is absolutely nothing in Luverne after the Chicken Shack closes.  I think Luverne is dry also so no booze, not that you would want any anyway.  The nearest cities of any size are Montgomery and Dothan.  I don't know much about those cities as I live in North Alabama.  I don't know how long you plan to stay but the beaches of the Florida Panhandle are beautiful.  They won't be too crowded this time of the year.  In Luverne the only thing happening this weekend is us.

Hey Kelly...like everyone has said....ummm...there is not much to do there.  HOWEVER, bring a record player (or whatever it is now) and we will party at the Best Western .  Seriously...I am looking forward to meeting you.  Y'all be safe coming this way.

Oh Carmen, you are right.  We can move those tables and really "cut a rug"!!  We will just need to leave the coffee pot where the addicts can get to it.  I know we are going to have such a good time this weekend. Can't wait for some visiting time!!
