I've made a huge pot of steaming hot, thick and spicy chili and a pan of Mexican cornbread.  It's smelling SOOOO good right now and I can't wait for it to get done.  I don't know what made me want mexican cornbread with chili, but it came to mind and I haven't been able to forget about it, so that's what we're having tonight.  What will you be serving up for dinner tonight?????

We are having chicken and vegies with noodles.  I would love to have chili.  Oh...that sounds good.

It's been a nice cool day here today and I've had chili on the brain.  I'm ready for some veggie soup and beef stew and other good fall time cookin'!  If you lived closer, you could come eat with me tonight.

I LOVE Mexican cornbread...have a corner piece with butter for me!!! We will most likely have chef salad since DH is working and he tries to do low carb during the week. I had salad for lunch though...maybe a sandwich or something for me!!

I put pintos in the crockpot this morning, cooked fresh corn on the cob and made cornbread. WE are eating cheap around here with gas prices so high!!

Sounds good too.  We're doing cheap eating these days too.  No eating out around here these days.  I was sure to take some GAS-X before eating my chili.  I wonder if my car could run off MY GAS???  ha ha

Great minds think alike. I also made Bobby a huge pot of chili. I don't eat chili so he will have if for a couple of days. I wanted to do something that I could leave on the stove and keep warm as we had support group tonight.
