Do we have any _____ on the boards??
vegetarians???
A few weeks, months back, I started frothing/vomiting when I eat dense foods such as meat. I love meat and would prefer it over most vegetables but I do not enjoy pain and nausea so I am considering eating mostly vegetables. I know that certain vegetables are high in protein but they usually do not compare to meats. If you are a vegetarian, how much protein do you average each day? What is your primary protein source?

I am considering it myself meat in just about ANY form lately will not "process" and I literally hate throwing up. I do use alot of tofu ( the soft kind) and veggie products, i really like the soy crumbles mixed with some ff refried beans ( the crumbles are in the frozen section where the health food is a walmart). I like soybeans ( edamame) but I like them dried NOt steamed. The only protein that does not make my tummy angry is fish brolied and that GETS old fast. Okay back to bed I am pooped from my new job.

I'm not a complete vegetarian by any means but I LOVE Morning Star Products, esp. the "meat" crumbles and burgers. In fact, I substitute it a lot because the protein content is favorably compared to that of real meat without the fat. I also LOVE beans. We have Beans n Greens night at least once a week since I can crock pot it. I also take advantage of protein smoothies when I know I may not be "eating" a lot that day.
BTW, it's great seeing you posting again. I missed you.

Gina,
I am working on making our meals more "vegetarian". Last night I had Braised kidney beans with Sweet Potato. Even my hubby and my picky eater liked it!!
