It was just on the news from Mobile that Fantasy Ship is now in Mobile.  Will we be leaving out of Mobile????  I hope so.  I think it would be easier to board there.

Hey Debbie I am not Carmen but I also read that on their web site. From my understanding it will only be until the oil spill is cleaned up in the lower Mississippi. What I read it will only be thru September. I could be wrong. I have been kown to be wrong before.

Hi Louise.  It was the original plan for it to stay only for a short time but it was announced that it would be in Mobile for good.  Do you think they will keep our group on the same ship if it is located there.  I know some have booked and already have the cabin assignment.  I will watch the news at 10 tonight and get the whole story about the location.  I am really excited about going on my first cruise!!!  I am depending on help from the ones (like you) who know all the ins and outs!!

They announced today that in the FALL of 2009 the Fantasy ship will PERMANTLEY move to Mobile giving us a larger ship and moving the Celebration a much smaller ship out of the fleet.
I am so excited for the revenue it will bring for our city however it will not effect those cruising in January 2009!!
OH well...

Oh shoot!!!  I was hoping.  Wouldn't it be great if we could leave out of Mobile?

Debbie I would have loved to have left out of Mobile also. Bobby is already freakin out about leaving my car in New Orleans. I am just hoping that the lot is secured like it was in Jacksonville.

Yeah if it was Mobile we could just get dropped off and not leave our car. But New Orleans..
Oh well it will be my first trip over to New Orleans since Katrina.
