On a ROLL again......

Well, I start back to work tomorrow.  It's going to be a busy week.  We also have a Snak and Yak after church tonight.  I've come in and started cooking up a storm.  I'm making a SF Lazy Man's Peach Cobbler, and big batch of loaded brownies for tonight.  For the week, I'm cooking chicken breasts to make chicken salad and chicken and dumplin's,  I've got mickey mouse noodles (per Jill's request)  cooking and I'm going to make a shrimp pasta salad.  I also have stuffed salmon I took out to fix for lunch today that I MUST cook today so I guess I'll cook it and we'll eat it for dinner tomorrow night.  Wow, I  better get back to the kitchen and get it all finished before we have to be back at church tonight.

I am not cooking anything. was going to get some bread ready to bake but then thought twice about it. maybe tomorrow

Busy and TIRED~!  I've just finished up cooking and got the kitchen all cleaned up.  I have food cooked for most of the week.  Shew.....I'm glad I don't have to cook this week.  It really takes a lot out of ya when you've been off work all summer and then go back to work.  The first week is the hardest, so I'm as prepared as I can be.  Of course I've had a really busy summer anyways with my precious grandson around, so maybe I won't be as tired from work afterall.  Ha ha!!!  It may feel more like a vacation. (just kiddin')  I'm looking forward to seeing my grandson during the evenings when I get off work as much as I possibly can.  I'm going to miss him so much during the days.  Holly starts nursing school in 2 weeks.  She's starting to get a little excited about that.  We are one busy family.  Jill is trying to work it out where she can finish up high school in December so she can start cosmotolgy in the spring.  We'll see how all this pans out.  Please pray for me and my ENTIRE family.

We had taco pie today.  We've had company all weekend from my hometown and I'm one tired puppy.  My company just left and it feels like I've cooked, washed dishes & done laundry all weekend.  We went to the water park late yesterday afternoon for a couple of hours and that in itself was two loads of towels.  Feeding 9 people since Friday..... We had red beans & rice Friday, chicken spaghetti yesterday and taco pie today.  There is some taco pie left over so at least I have lunch for tomorrow and don't have to worry about that.

I go back to work tomorrow with no help.... Friday was my co-workers last day and I'm sure going to miss her.  Oh well, time to train antoher one....... # 7 in a year and 1/2.  I get chills just thinking about it. 

Oh well, enough of my whining and YES we do need to talk.  I feel like I never have any ME time anymore...... not complaining, just stating a fact. :)

No wonder you're so darned skinny girl.  You're too busy and chasing that young'un too.  Wow.....I feel like my summer has been a whirlwind.....busy too, chasing after my own young'un.  Geez, it's been fun though.  I'm not cooking the rest of the week.  We've got plenty cooked for everyday...I just put up 3 large containers of chicken and dumplins.  I'm sending one to Holly's and one to my Daddy and we'll still have plenty to eat on.  I don't know what I was thinking....I just had all that chicken broth from the chicken breasts, so I used it ALL!  ha ha!!!  Not as thick as i'd like, but it's real tasty.

Call me one evening when you get a chance.  I know how busy you are and my evenings are now free.....
