Goodnight
Kyle has been in bed for awhile, so I'm going to go give Christian his milk-milk and we're hitting the hay too. He's been such an angel this evening. He even sat out in his little chair.....(placed in an alabama camping chair) with his Papa Kyle and Pastor Herbert (our neighbor) while they went over Kyle's Sunday School lesson he is to teach on Sunday. He's so nervous so he sought out some advice from our neighbor who's a retired preacher. Those two men just love to gab and talk about Jesus and he and his wife sat in for Kyle's parents who chose NOT to come to Holly's wedding or even call or send a card. It was not acknowleged in any way. They have never even acknowledged Kyle's b'day or our girls or even when Christian was born. So sad.....Kyle hasn't seen his parents in over 2 1/2 years when we went to visit them in WV. They did stop by here a couple of months ago to see Christian for 10 whole minutes when they came down here to pick up their favorite "run away" granddaughter and drove straight back to WV without even calling Kyle or stopping by his work. I feel so sorry for Kyle having such rotten parents that could care less about him or his family. Anyway, Kyle has kind of adopted Rev. Herbert as a father figure. He and his wife are just wonderful neighbors and we are so blessed by them.
Anyway, the sleep meds are kicking in, so I'd better shut up before I get myself in trouble. hee hee!!!
Ya know it is a huge blessing that Kyle has someone that is a father figure in his life...isn't God good? He fills our life with people just at the right time, just when we need them!!! Tim didn't have a good father figure...and his father passed away at the age of 52 years old, so Tim has had to "wing it" on many MAN things in his life, if you can understand what I mean by that...fixing things, etc.
