Does anyone have a good homemade icecream recipe? The one I normaly use is good but would like something different. MIneis as follows:

1 container coolwhip
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla
mix and place in freezer container, filling the rest f the freezer with milk. If you would like chocolate, simply use chocolate milk.

This is a very easy recipe, just would like something fruity to try for family and friends.
ps...I don't eat it, but if you have a good wls friendly recipe, I woudl liek to try it.

Strawberry Ice Cream with Splenda 1 1/2 cup whipping cream 1 cup half and half 1/4 cup water 1/2 cup strawberry juice/puree * 7/8 cup Splenda 1/2 cup coarsely chopped strawberries Place a handful of strawberries in a blender or food processor to create the strawberry juice/puree. Mix the first 5 ingredients and add to machine, add the coarse strawberries once the mix has started to firm up. If the mix is not solidifying, add 1 tsp of water and mix it in well with a rubber spatula, make your own determination of how to safely do this with the type of ice cream maker you have. * If you use Splenda in packets, be sure to adjust accordingly! The packets are a different level of sweetness compared to normal bulk Splenda.

I mad eice cream today as well. I made Strawberry. Here is what I did: 1 box sf vanilla pudding 1 box sf strawberry jello 1 scoop vanilla protein powder 1/2 bag whole strawberries, smashed 1 container ff coolwhip 2% milk 1 tsp vanilla Whisk the small box of sf pudding with some milk, add the coolwhip, stir in the sf jello (dry), stir in the strawberry puree and finish fillign ice cream freezer container with milk. Place in i/c freezer and let it go. It was pretty good. I would use the entire bag of berries if I were to make it again. Hubby really likes it. I used 2% milk because I find ff seams to b icey.
