Hello...I check this board ever few days and there is never any activity. Just thought I'd see if there is anyone else checking and if so, we could get some support going since we have something in common besides WLS. ~Kim

Hi Kim , I am a AF Spouse. We are currently stationed @ Hurlburt Field in Florida, my hubby is TDY in Korea right now, and we he returns, we are then moving to Robins AFB in GA. I have two boys 13 & 5 (soon to be 6 in Feb). E-mail me if you want to chat. Beth

I see this is an old post, but I am new, so I'll still give it a shot!  I am also an AF wife stationed at Dyess.  I have requested Lapband surgery, and should find out this week if it is approved.  Are you still at Dyess?  Would love to talk with you about your experience.  Thanks, Julia

Hi Kim ~ I'm an AF Spouse and AF Civilian employee. My husband and I are currently stationed at Eielson AFB, AK. I had RNY in Anchorage, AK on 5 Jul 05 and am down 98.5 pounds. My starting weight was 272 and I'm 5' 7 1/2". Good luck with your surgery. Email if you have questions. Maria 272/173.6/170 (thinking about lowering my goal by 10 -15 pounds)

Hi I am an AF spouse..My husband is in Indiana supporting an ROTC program. I will be joining him soon. We have a 2 year old daughter. I am still in DC finishing my Grad program at Howard University and waiting for a consult at Walter Reed on 1/17 for lap-band. hope the process is on its way. Feel free to email me.

Hi Kim! I am too an AF spouse. I have checked this board several times and there isn't a lot of activity. My hubby and I are stationed at Charleston AFB. I had my surgery on 9/12/05 and I have lost 75lbs. and feel great. Good luck on your PCS to Robins, it is only about 5 hours from Charleston. Happy Birthday to your little one. Britt
