Topic: RE: need help
Hi Tracie, I just had LapBand surgery done 8-15-06. I have had two fills and have 6cc's in place. I have no restriction either. I do not know if my band is a vanguard. Did your problem clear up? I am really getting bummed about the lack of restriction, it would be nice to hear how you're doing. I have asked my Doc about a leak and he says it isn't leaking, just need to be more patient. I have to drive 350 miles for each fill so I would be thrilled to have a fill that will last for awhile.

Crystal,
I work in Rock Springs and Green River. I like that part of my job, getting to go back and forth. I agree, this is the time of year I hate the travel! Congrats on the lap band. I had the RNY and am pleased with my results.

Hello all!
I check this board but don't see many local posts. I thought maybe it would help if I posted something.

Topic: RE: Support Group
Dear Mona,
I had been trying to find a support group closer to my home here in Laramie. I finally got in contact with someone and there is a group that meets every 3rd Tuesday of each month at Ivinson Memorial.
Next meeting will be October 17 at 6:00 pm. This will be my first time attending so, I hope to meet you there.
Sincerely,
Kelli
Topic: RE: Support Group
There are two different support groups in Cheynne. Go to wyomingweightlosssurgery.com all the details are there. The details about laramie are there too.
The 1st one is the 2nd Wed. of each month, at UMC in the auditoriums at 6:00pm it is for pre-op to 9 months out. The second one is the 4th wed of each month same place and time for 9+ months out. But anybody can go to any of them.
Hope this helps.

Topic: Throw out the spinach
WASHINGTON (AP) - Consumers nationwide should not eat fresh bagged spinach, say health officials probing a multistate outbreak of E. coli that killed at least one person and made dozens of others sick.
Food and Drug Administration and state officials don't know the cause of the outbreak, although raw, packaged spinach appears likely. "We're advising people not to eat it," said Dr. David Acheson of the FDA's Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition
It was reported a few minutes ago to throw out all bagged spinach!
