Greetings All!!
It is clear and COLD here! We had snow and high winds over the weekend and now the clouds are gone and the air is very cold. I am not sure what is predicted for Christmas but I sure hope Santa puts on his heavy coat!

Hi, I am almost 4 years out with a Lap Band. Have lost 100 lbs, then had knee replaced, gained 40 back. Haven't been able to get the 40 off. I also have allergies (hay fever type) and asthma. Have a lot of mucus that forms and will throw that up. Husband nags when he thinks I am not eating "right". And doesn't want me to go to a therapist. We would have to drive 30-60 miles for that. So I get frustrated and revenge eat. What ever I know isn't good for me and that he wouldn't approve of. HELP! Please! Thanks, Marilyn Prime:-(

Bidding farewell to November today. The sky was clear blue all day, the sun was shinning. The wind was gusting and the temperature was 15 degrees. SOOO cold! It is supposed to stay that was thru the weekend.

Hello!
Got back from Chandler, AZ yesterday. Great trip south and the weather was beautiful. 60's and 70's the whole Thanksgiving weekend.
Today it started to snow and looks like we are in for a storm! The weather stations are predicting lots of snow for the whole western part of the country. We have about an inch now. Hopefully it will slow down and the wind won't get any worse and all will be okay.

Well, I guess THAT nightmare is over, right? So glad BC/BS came through for you. I can't wait to go out to lunch and share an appetizer! Not only will we be thin, we will have more money. LOL Congrats on your upcoming transformation.

Greetings from Green River via Chandler, Arizona! Wonderful wether down here.
I was covered under BCBS and folllowed the reqiurements of my plan. My policy only covered the RNY and that was what I wanted.

I have been denied by BC/BS to have my lap band surgery. They will cover bypass, but I am medically unable to have that due to post-cancer internal problems. I want to speak to an Attorney about this issue. Any suggestions?

Hello all!
The weather was great here today. Blus skies and sun. I was trapped inside doing paperwork but.... I still had a great day.
Those of us that had our WLS in January of 2006 are GOING TO VEGAS!!!! 1/2007. I just signed up and am so excited to see all the people I post with. Should be a great time. If you had surgery 1/2006 and have not checked out our message board, please do so. A bunch of great people hang out there.
