no bile...what's wrong?

I went in today for an EDG because I continue to lose weight and can't eat. They want to put a feeding tube in but the gastro doc I went to had no idea about my bypass. He went all through my system and found no evidence of bile. What does this mean? Could it be the reason I'm starving to death? I'm miserable and feel like I'm dieing and can't find a doctor to help me.

have you gone to your surgon? this sounds scary. you should check with someone that knows about bypass surgery. don't mess around. I have not had surgery yet but this does not sound right. keep us posted. Kathy S.

Hi Terry, Sorry to hear your under the weather. I think you should get ahold of your surgeon maybe he can help you or refer you mto some one who can. I'm not sure but do your gall bladder and bile have some kind of connection? Tina
