You have to worry about YOU! Your health and well-being is what you need to be concerned about. You may have to sit your family and fiance down and just tell them your feelings and basically just the way it is going to be.
Maybe they don't realize what this is doing to you plus adding to your tension over the surgery. If they love you and concerned about your health and want what is best for you, then they will lay their differences aside and learn to tolerate each other.
This is just my opinion. We all have our family differences, we just smile and fake that we all like each other.

I Just wanted to post... That Susan Maria from Bariatriceating.com will be attending the OH Conference in OH.
Should you want to get out and finally meet this great person, please make time to come out to the conference. This event will prove to be very informational as well as a way to network with other WLS peers.

Topic: Getting Nervous
I am starting to get nervous, and thinking about not going through with the surgery. So many problems have come up in my life that I don't know if I can go through with it. I want too, and I know I need too, but I am getting really scared and not having my fiance get along with my family isn't going to make it easy on me. My family are morons, and my bf can be a jerk so there is going to be a lot of bumping heads and I am going to be stuck in the middle and I dont know if I can handle that kinda pressure. PLEASE HELP! I could really use some advice. My surgery is 8 days away.
Topic: Melissa Y's update
Melissa Yeager's surgery went well and I will be calling her today. Her surgery took a little longer than normal, but I understand that she is doing fine. Some of her family is staying with her. Will update again as I know more.
