Welcome to the area! My PCP is great with gastric bypass but she is not in the Chas or Montgomery area. You may contact Dr. Stickler's office in Chas. and maybe they can refer you to someone. Dr. Stickler did my surgery and him and his staff are great!

I can't help with the PCP in the Montgomery area but CAMC in Charleston has a wonderful support that meets every third Tuesday of the month at Women's & Children's hospital board room. Dr. Shin is our surgeon, his office number is 388-4965 or 1-866-788-4965. He is AWESOME!!! and his office staff will assist in any help you need. Has anyone tried the new strawberry sorbet from Unjury?? Oh my it is sooooo good! I can not drink ones made with milk, because they make me throw up but this one was wonderful. Unlike the other protein drinks that are made with water it has a clean and refreshing taste, not a tart taste that leaves a bad after taste. Just thought I would share my find. I am 2 1/2 years post op and starting to gain again, so I am trying to fight back now! I never thought I would feel like this again! am up ten pounds from a year ago, and I am frantic! Need you guys to help me!

Yes... having surgery here in Charleston. I'm currently going to Dr. Stickler. There have been several people (men and women) I know where I work who have been his patients. I hear nothing but raves about him and the facility where the surgery is done. I know how you feel... excitement, worry, elation, fears, hope, ... all those emotions keep rolling around!
