Hi Everyone! The Beckley WLS Support Group meeting will be held on Monday, August 22, from 7:00-9:00pm at Raleigh General Hospital on Harper Road, Beckley. Our meeting location is in the Education Center (annex building on the Kroger side of RGH). Entrance is at the top of the wheelchair ramp. Guests are welcome and everyone is encouraged to attend! Susan, I had surgery at Cabell and Dr Nease was my surgeon. He and his staff are wonderful. You just have to keep on them nurses about pain medicine and getting you up to walk. Other than that everything went well with my surgery and I was overall satisfied with the nursing staff. Don't let them lie to you and tell you the swallow test isnt that bad. It is horrible. But after a few the taste gets out of your mouth, and youll be fine! Congrats on the date. I hope everything goes well.
