Topic: December 2004 babies
Hi, We are doing a fun game with the December 2004 babies and the January 2005 babies on seeing who is the biggest losers. We need everyone who had surgery in December 2004 to join us if they wish. All you have to do is click on the link below and click reply on the first post to Liz and tell her how much you have lost to date and she will add that to our number of pounds shed. http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/12-2004/postdetail/11790.html?vc=0

Topic: HELP! I will lose my insurance February 1
I lost my job and am in the process of preop testing for WLS. Has anyone used Rehab or received Medicaid help? ( I am only 37) I am checking all my options. Any help or suggestions would be helpful.

Topic: RE: PAM GEARY-CABELL HUNTINGTON HOSPITAL
I'm not sure what happened to Pam, but I do know that Cabell now has a wonderful new weight loss surgeon and staff. I'm seven months post-op and I look forward to support group every month. Our meetings are the first monday of every month. They start at 6:00 p.m. in the second floor waiting area. February's meeting will be about relationships after WLS. You can contact Kim Miller, Patient Liason and she will add you to her e-mail so that you can receive our monthly newsletter. I look forward to meeting you at support group.

Jennifer, Good luck finding a job, there's quite a few in McDowell County if you're interested. Big Creek High School (home of the Rocket Boys) has a science job posted now. It's a great place to work, by the way that's where I work (secretary). God Bless, Marlene

Hi Mary Ellen, Looks like you're doing great. I'm down to 191 and a lot of that is skin. I'd be interested in a get together when the weather gets warm! Lynn

I might be interested. I'm planning on moving back to West Virginia in the next six months or so if I can find a math or science teaching job.

Topic: RE: Need help (protein suppl)
I have tried several proteins and the IsoFruit Protein ****tail in Cantaloupe is my favorite. Its made with water so its not so bulky feeling, which is great just starting out after surgery. It tastes just like eating a piece of cantaloupe. One other thing, even if you like something before surgery, you might hate the taste of it after surgery! Surgery changes EVERYTHING! Things I took with me to surgery was icky to me after surgery. Just to give you a heads up. Best wishes with the surgery!
