Topic: RE: Does WV Medicaid help pay for any of the vitamins
No. But there are some vitamins and minerals that can be prescribed and covered by your card. Ask your MD about them. Most will not unfortunately. Neither is the protein. My advice is to stock up on them early as you can afford them and look for sales. I rely on www.bulkfoods.com for my whey protein. The 90% pure isolated whey protein - unflavored is less than $40 for 5 lbs. This is almost pure white in color and tasteless. 5 lbs. will last you a long time.

I don't know but they may pay for b12 shot ,you will have to buy all vitamins i don't think inurance companys will cover that ,this is a big problem if you will not be able to afford the vitamins and protein mix doing this process because you will need this for the rest of your life.

Kristi - You and your family will be in our prayers. I don't have any experience with this kind of situation and don't know what to tell you other than just be strong and hold your little girls close. You know that you have a very large family in the support group here in Charleston and we are all here for you. God Bless all of you and expecially your little 5 year old. We all love you.

I'm not on Medicaid, however I DO believe in your cause. Could people not on Medicaid help your cause. Afterall - I don't have to subscribe to a plan to support where my tax dollars go!
Let me know what points you want me to make in my letter and I'll be happy to do so. Petition? No problem! I'll gladly sign!

Kristi,
I'm so sorry to hear this. I know how much you love those little girls. I don't really have any recommendations for you but wanted you to know that I will be praying for you and your family. Please get recommendations from professionals. My friends daughter was sexually abused and as far as we know there was only 1 or 2 incidences, when she was about 5. As a teenager she had sexual identity problems. I've moved and don't get to talk to her much but the last time I talked to my friend, her daughter was still having difficulty with her sexuality. She was trying alternative lifestyles. I have no way of knowing if these incidiences where the cause of these problems but I would quess that they very well could be.
Good luck,
Debbie S
