When would you like to have your surgery? I am 2 months out and enjoying the weightloss. Trying on clothes that I haven't worn in years is great. But, most of all, I feel so much better. Hi there, I am new to OH and also would like a friend in WV. I have just begun this journey to a new life. I'm located in Parsons, WV and had quiet a job of finding the nearest medicare approved hospital. It turns out to be St. Margerts in Pitts. What did we do before the www.? I would have liked to use WVU since I know my way around in Morgantown, but it must be a Center of Excellence. I did learn that Medicare doesn't require the 6 month documented weight loss program from your PCP. At least that's what I was told when I spoke to the intake person @ St Margerts.
I'm looking forward to meeting new people who can help with their valuable experience... Michelle

Well, I'm not that far from ya! I'm near Capon Bridge, WV about 18 miles from Winchester, VA. I had RNY on July 14th and am doing really well. I still have a ways to go, but, each day is closer to my goal. I originally went to Dr. Moazzez for my surgery but, my insurance gave me such a hard time, I had to stay 'in-state' and went to Morgantown at the University for my surgery. Anyway, it was nice to see someone close. Email me anytime....I love making/meeting new friends. Have a nice week. ---Beth

I am bringing my extra clothes to Lexington. Everything from size 2x & 18-20 to size 10's. Look me up in Lexington because the clothes are FREE to a good home. I have lots of Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Clein, as well as Faded Glory, ha ha.
If anyone has any 8's & 6's & mediums they want to give away, I sure could use them. By the way, I think I know what I will wear to the masquerade ball. I had better hurry up & order it!

So where are you from?Scott Depot???not sure where that is?Do you know where Martinsburg is?Eastern Panhandle,about 15 min.away from Maryland.
So 3 weeks post op and doing well that is wonderful!! My insurance as a 6 month weigh in and that ends the last week of Nov. and my doc says that they will give the insurance about a month to respond and then 2 weeks from then should be my surgery SO I am looking like Jan. sometime.Anyway I still need to find out about the best protien stuff,so that gives my some time.

Topic: finally getting a granddaughter
Hello all
Well I found out Friday that my husband and I are finally getting a granddaughter. My stepson and his wife are expecting around Feb 22. We are so happy. After having 2 grandsons we are finally getting a granddaughter. Also my oldest daughter is going to have another baby around May 6th. Her youngest baby is only 4 1/2 months old. OOPS!!!!. Boy these grandkids popping out like I don't know what. My youngest daughter and her husband are trying so we could have 3 new grandkids next year.
My stepson though will not be there when the baby is born. He is in the Marines and will be deployed to Iraq in January. We are very proud of him but don't want to go but that is his job. Oh by the way they are going to name the baby Zoe Adarrah (i think that is how you spell it). Well I better go for now thought I would share my news!
