Hi Everyone! The Beckley WLS Support Group meeting will be held on MONDAY, October 23, from 7:00-9:00pm at Raleigh General Hospital on Harper Road, Beckley. Our meeting location is in the Education Center (annex building on the Kroger side of RGH). Entrance is at the top of the wheelchair ramp. Guests are welcome and everyone is encouraged to attend! CLOTHING EXCHANGE: We will now have a clothing exchange at each meeting! You are welcome to bring any clothes that no longer fit you and take home some that do. As you lose out of them, bring them back and exchange them for others! You do not have to bring clothing to take clothing, and bringing clothing is not required. Restaurant cards for Dr. Shin and Dr. Stickler's patients (as well as some other area doctors - email us if you need one for your doctor) will be available for anyone who needs one. Don't forget to bring a recipe (or two...or three) for our online group cookbook (or you can email them to us), a "before" picture (if you have one), or even bring some "before" clothes! Hi Michelle! I just thought I would jump in here to tell you that Johns Hopkins in Baltimore was just approved about 2 weeks ago as a center of excellence. I'm not sure where Parsons, WV is so I don't know if Pitts is closer or not. Just thought I would let you know! Sandy~Diamond

However, it reads that the surgery must be performed within the next 60 days. My surgeon requires a 3 month liquid diet to loose excess fat from my liver. I have tried to get insurance coverage since 1999 and my BMI is 75. What should I do in this case?

I was in Augusta last night for a veiwing at McCeefurnal home know where that is??I think that was thw name anyway.So you are doing well adn everything is going fine that is wonderful!!!I have my sleep study on 10-30.So how much have you lost??how is the protein stuff,I'm affraid that I won't be able to take that ,I guess I'll do my best!! OH and the whole not drinking while I eat that will take some gettin use to.
