Topic: The journey takes a detour
Hi all, Good to see things picking up around here. I have just come to my first bump in the road. My Surgeon ordered a Stress test for me before surgery because I had smoked for 30 years. I figured, No big deal. Well the experience of the test alone was not pleasant, but I find our yesterday that it was abnormal. It showed a possible blockage or narrowing of an artery. There are a large number of false results in these test with women who have large breast. I now have to go see a Cardiologist in Morgantown on Tuesday. I'm praying for the test to be wrong. I'll post when I know something.

Hi Kim! I'm with you on the fluid intake, I have a real problem with that as well. Here's what I've had today:
Coffee with splenda
New whey Protein 'bullet" 42 g protein
A couple of bites from a ceaser salad at lunch
A couple of bites of potato soup at lunch
** Going out to lunch with my co-workers today was a real waste of money!!
Will have to try to make it to at least 60 g protein later today.

Oh my goodness 88 pounds? Do you feel well at the weight? But to your question even though I have only lost 65 lbs so far I do have the head games thinking sometimes is it really worth it, but then again other times I think I am so very forunate that I got aprroved by my insurance company to have it done alot of people I know can't get that approval. I am constantly thinking about what I put into my mouth I am constantly on the scales I am constantly worrying if I actually do look like I am losing weight even though my clothes size has went down when I look into the mirror sometimes I just can't see it. So yes I do have the head games going on also.

Well it's not been a good day for my fluid intake for the life of me I don't see how anyone can get in 64 oz of fluid unless of course it's a protein drink and you count it as a meal also. The drinks do not agree with me, so this morning I was determined that I was going to try it once again and one smell and sip did me in so here's what I've had today
Breakfast ~ 3 pieces of ham and cheese from a Lunchables so I have the slighest idea of calories so I'll guess 25
Lunch ~ 1/2 of a small Wendy's Chili 110 calories
Dinner ~ 3/4 of a veggie burger w/ FF cheese and a dill pickle 165 calories
Calories ~ 300
Protein ~ 30
