Hi Everyone! This month, we're having a PROTEIN TASTING PARTY! The Beckley WLS Support Group meeting will be held on MONDAY, April 16, from 7:00-9:00pm at Raleigh General Hospital on Harper Road, Beckley. Our meeting location is in the Education Center (annex building on the Kroger side of RGH). Entrance is at the top of the wheelchair ramp. Guests are welcome and everyone is encouraged to attend! This month: PROTEIN TASTING PARTY! Want to try a new protein supplement? Have some protein powder you didn't like, but don't want to throw away? Or just have a great protein supplement you would like everyone to try? Bring it to our protein tasting party in April. Cups & water will be provided. If you need anything else to mix your particular sample (shakers, etc.), please bring it along. If you don't have any to share, don't worry! If you have been to any of our parties of any kind, you know there is always plenty...so come anyway! CLOTHING EXCHANGE: We will now have a clothing exchange at each meeting! You are welcome to bring any clothes that no longer fit you and take home some that do. As you lose out of them, bring them back and exchange them for others! You do not have to bring clothing to take clothing, and bringing clothing is not required. Restaurant cards for Dr. Shin and Dr. Stickler's patients (as well as some other area doctors) will be available for anyone who needs one. Don't forget to bring a recipe (or two...or three) for our online group cookbook (or you can email them to us), a "before" picture (if you have one), or even bring some "before" clothes! I had RNY in Charleston on 9-19-06. I went to Dr. Stickler at Medabolix. He and his staff were the greatest. I can not say enough good things about them or CAMC Bariatric Unit. I am trying to help my sister in law find a primary care doctor in the Charleston area that supports having a RNY gastric by pass, her doctor ( slim little fellow that weighs in aound 150 pounds ) thinks people do not need surgery GRWWWWWWWWWWWW. So if anyone knows of a good doctor please let me know. THANKS

My surgery is Monday morning and I'm starting to get nervous. I'm on clear liquids for 2 days so I'm staying home for Easter Dinner. We will leave Sunday night for Huntington and have to be at the hospital at 8:00am. Remember me in your prayers Michelle
