Topic: Where do YOU go to exercise and/or be active??
Hi all!
I know that WV is Wild and Wonderful, but what I'm wondering is what you do to get moving in this state? The gym/workout sites are limited in my part of the state (very rural). When you can find one, it is 25 or 30 minutes from home and who can afford that in a 15 mpg vehicle with gas right at $3 a gallon?? LOL
SO, I'm push mowing my 2+ acre yard again. I help with my daughter's senior league (15-17 year old girls) softball team. I walk. I do what I can exercise-wise at home. But, spring/summer is here. There are parks and such in this state where you can go and walk or hike, swim, etc. I'd like to know where YOU go that you find great ways to move and be active towards your weight loss goals???
I'm in central WV (Braxton county) if that helps any, but I'm not opposed to weekend outings away from home!

Topic: Any Black Diamond Council folks out there?
I have 3 of the Black Diamond polo shirts with the embroidered logo on the left side of the chest in a size 3X or 4X (whatever the largest they come in is). If you are interested and ARE part of the council (tell me what this is!), the only cost would be shipping from me to you. I also have several books!

Dr. Bandak will be opening his new office in June in Charleston and not really that far from the PSC. They know that at the Plastic Surgery Center! They are not disclosing that to patients because they would lose all of their patients because Bandak is the best and not to mention an amazing man. You can call in late May at 304-925-4665 to get an appointment with him.
Good luck dude and stick with Bandak...he is fantastic!!!

Mary and I had GBS at WVU in late 2006. This was the best thing we have ever done for ourselves. Good luck and God Bless.

Has anyone had lap band done in Mexico and gotten their fills done here??? Wondering what Dr. will do it here and about cost. Any help would be appreciated.
