Sorry I am just now answering this. I just found this board. I'm not positive if he takes Medicaid (though I think he does). I do work in the hospital where he does surgeries (CAMC) and he has an incredible bedside manner and his patients love him. He was my grandfathers surgeon a few years ago and he loved him (and thats saying a lot that my grandfather liked a doctor). His looks can be deceiving but he is excellent at what he does and he will treat you with the respect you deserve!

Hey I have not dealt with that insurance company but I can try to research it a  lil bit for ya.  If not call and talk to a surgeons office .. Maybe they can help you out with some of the questions you may have..  Most mean if it is medically necessary..  Dont give up!!

I currently have health insurance through my husbands work but the policy doesn't cover WLS ,I looked up supplemental policies online to cover the surgery , has anyone done this ? did you have good results?

My husband is from WV.  He's from Welch a little ghost town of a closed down mining town.  It's not far from Beckley.  His parents are now living in Lewisburg.  It's just BEAUTIFUL there.  Lots of nice neat things and just a gorgeous historical town.  We just got back from visiting 2 weeks ago.  His brother has a huge farm in Ballard and has bunches of horses, cows and chickend.  Oh and there's an Alpaca Farm right next door to his farm.
