Topic: 10 months into the PEIA pre-requisites
I am 10 months into the PEIA's year of pre-requisites. The long wait could be over soon. I am very worred because I have not lost the required 10% of weight. Anybody else out there that was not able to loose the 10% and PEIA still gave you the green light for the surgery?

I got my answers. Dr. Nease's staff is amazing and it's basically up to your insurance and what they require. I have a few more nutrition visits, my psych eval and I should be good to go!

I'm looking for a support group in the Clarksburg/Fairmont/Morgantown area. Anyone know of any locally? I'm havingVSG in Pittsburgh next week but don't want to travel there weekly for a support group.

Topic: What are the steps you take for Dr Nease?
I am just wondering what all you did to get your surgery with Dr Nease. My insurance is not very demanding when it comes to weight loss surgery. The ONLY thing they require is that I do a psych evaluation. So, from start to finish, what all did you do to get your surgery. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

I had surgery in 2007 ... I'm having some issues and called his office - they said he no longer performs any WLS and isn't seeing WLS patients???? Has anyone else been told this... why is he no longer dealing with WLS?

Welcome to martinsburg, about 4 months late sorry. I have not found a wls group in martinsburg but I think it would be cool to start a meet and greet local. I go to the Winchester medical center bariatric clinic. I love them.
