Miserable
Although, Im still waiting for my surgery, I cant help but reply to your plea. You sound so sad!
You should be proud of your loss. You seem to be doing well.
Do you have someone you can talk to, a local support group maybe? A friend who understands?
Are you in pain? Is something physically wrong? Why are you doubting your choice? Maybe you need to talk with your doctor again?
Please try to cheer up and look at the brighter side.

Leann....you are doing great! 30 lbs. is nothing to sneeze at.
You say you are miserable....are you in pain, just feel bad, or what? Doubting if you have done the right thing is normal. I did at first but now glad I had it done.
If you need a friend, just email me. Are you attending a support group, that is another suggestion. If need be...call your Dr.

Hi Leann!
I'm pre-op so I can't empathize with what you are going thru. I'm sure there is the learning curve of getting used to your new way of eating.
I hope there is a support group thru your Dr's office or one there in Huntington.
I'm hoping your concern is not due to being in any kind of pain. Let us know how you're feeling and thinking... we're here to support and help you thru this.
Please post often... we care!

Thank you all for the responses. I am not in any physical pain. It's more emotional. I am still struggling with my decision especially every time I throw up. Which, is pretty often now. Now, I think I am just trying to find my new self because the way I am looking isnt matching who I am...and people are seeing me as a totally different person like I've really changed or something not just on the outside but inside too...and I dont think I have
Leann,
It's normal to worry. Just keep reminding yourself that you did the RIGHT thing for your health. It's tough in the beginning, but it gets better, I promise. Foods that make you sick now will be your best friend in a few months. You're doing GREAT!! Keep up the good work, and kudos to you for being brave enough to make such a life altering decision for your health!!
