4 days to go!!!!!!

Hello all: well tomorrow is my last for food. I am going to miss it but it is better for me in the long run. My surgery is Thursday. I am nervous but excited. Can't wait to get over with. Take care all. Kathy

Hi Kathy, Good luck with the next 4 days, they are going to be emotional. I remember the night before surgery, we stayed at the Hampton Inn right beside Magee's, I just layed there and cried in my husbands arms. Goodluck with the bowel prep and make sure you swallow that metronidazole because if not it is nasty tasting. I have to call Dr. Hamad's office tomorrow I am having some pain at my drain site. It just might have to come out early. Keep in touch and you are in my prayers. Heather

Good Luck!!! Thoughts and prayers are with you. I thought I would miss "food" but I don't. I had the same feelings....nervous but excited... After the first week, you will be amazed at how you feel...and your energy level. good luck, again....and take it easy. Don't try to over do. I go for my 6 month check-up today. It has gone by fast. And it will be same for you. I laugh now why I was so nervous. Janet
