3 Month Interdisciplinary w/Aetna?

Has anyone used the 3 month interdisciplinary program with Aetna in place of the 6 month Dr supvervised requirement? I am going to begin the 3 month plan with my surgeon's program for a couple of reasons: 1. It won't take as long 2. I'd be learing valuable information on making a true change in my lifestyle for the future from a specialist on WLS I will have to pay $150/month myself, whereas insurance would cover a monthly weigh-in with my PCP, but I just think it will be a better education experience to prepare me both pre and post surgery. I was wondering if anyone else had gone this route and had success with it? ---Barb A
