Let's get the WV Board Going! Are you in?
Hey WV Losers....let's get this board going. I have been watching it for several months and nothing.
Are you in?
Since the Memorial Day weekend is near...let's start with that. What are your plans?
Mine...is a family picnic.....can't wait! We have family coming in from out of town and other family that lives close that we haven't seen in a while. I had my surgery in January and most haven't seen me since then. So won't they be surprised. I have lost 90 lbs. and feel GREAT!
So let's hear from you!
Have a great day & weekend!
Janet,
I am new to this and just now discovered that there is a state message board. My husband and son are going to N.C. for the Nascar race this weekend, so me and my daughter are having an all girl weekend. I'll also be getting my house in order because my surgery is June 6. I'm so excited I can hardly stand it. (Nervous too) Conratulations on your weight loss!

I would love to see the WV message board get into gear. I have been trying to direct my patients to the board for a while and some start but they drop off due to inactivity. Lets see if we can get as active as the other states. I check this board nearly everyday and I would be glad to contribute.

Hi Janet,
Glad to hear that someone feels the same way that I do about this board. I'm scheduled to work this weekend. I told anyone who wanted to see me to come in. I work at Foodland, which is a grocery store. I'm hoping to have surgery, just waiting for insurance approval.
You are doing great.
Have a great weekend.
Jenny
Im in.. still playing the waiting and wanting game like Jenny, but Im in!!
I have been watching the board also but usually there isnt anyone posting.
So, Janet.. can you help us wanna-bes out with some good advice? Suggestions?
As for my weekend.. just kicking back with my Family. Maybe do a little yard work and a cookout.
Have a good weekend everybody!!
Jen
Rosie,
Glad to have you visiting and posting on the WV board. You are truly fresh out of surgery. Don't sweat the weight loss yet, it will come. It is hard to say whether you are a slow loser or not until you are a few months out. The average patient loses between 15 and 30 pounds in the first month. Keep your focus and follow the rules - you will do fine.
Thanks Daniel, I kinda know that it'll take a few months to lose, but I want o see the results ASAP. I went clothes shopping and I was wearing a size 30/32 and now I'm a 26/28 but I dont want to buy anything now cuz I know that I will be losing. Sorry I dont know if you know anything about clothes or what.
Thanks
