Hello! I am new here. I have North American Administrators/CCN insurance.
Does anyone have any information regarding my type of insurance?
I began by going to a consultation with Dr. Holwick on Feb.2nd. I found out the next day she was not in my network so I called their office to let them know I was not interested in continuing with her due to insurance.
I then found Dr. Stickler who was in the network. I was scheduled for a seminar on February 20th. I went and found it to be very informative. I was called for an appointment with Dr. Stickler for March,16th.
Today, I received a letter from the insurance stating Dr. Holwicks request for of surgery. I was shocked since I had called the day after my consult. with her to let them know I was not interested in continuing. The insurance denied which I am not surprised since she did not have enough information about me to even send. Now, I am worried this will effect my request from Dr. Stickler.
Any replies will be greatly appreciated.

Jenn,
This sould not have any imact on your precert from the new Dr. But what I would do(I am a nurse in Florida and work for an insurance company but was born and raised in W.VA.) is to call your insurance company and let them know that you did not authorize this request to go through and that you told the office that you would not be seeing them. Just to cover yourself, it never hurts.

Tami, Thanks for the reply and the concern. I definitely am not going back to Dr. Holwick. I have an appointment Thursday, March 18 with Dr. Stickler in Charleston. I am excited but nervous. It just seems so stressful making sure I have everything I need plus wondering if I have enough information, if I will be excepted or not, if the insurance will approve me. Thanks again, Jennifer
