URGENT PLEA FOR BLOOD AND PRAYERS!!

Good Morning W VA AMOS Family, I come to ask for you all to pray for one of "our own", My Angelette, Gwen Moore, is in St Josephs Hospital in Parkersburg, and is in desperate need of B negative blood. She has had 2 strictures, done at OSU in Columbus, Ohio, Gwen lives in Belpre, Ohio. To make this story a little shorter, she began to bleed after this last dialation and was rushed to St Joes. She may have to have surgery again, but the hospital has been having a tough time finding her, pretty uncommon blood type. She has had 8 units of plasma and 3 units of whole blood already, and they would like to have more, in case another surgery becomes necessary. They are also using type B positive, which I am, and I will be going down to donate. ANYONE in the vicinity, if you would please call the hospital and ask about the procedure for donating for her, I will be in your debt forever!! Gwen has been through so much since her surgery, just a little under 2 months ago. She had 2 sisters die within 17 days of one another, shortly after her surgery, and her Boyfriend Alan had triple bypass heart surgery in Charleston when she was only 8 days out! Her fighting SPIRIT is amazing, she asked me, when I spoke with her last evening to ask you all for every extra prayer that you have for her. I will be posting this message to the local Ohio board also and I pray that enough folks will come forward to help her. She also asked me to pass along to all pre-ops who may be worrying now about her complications to let everyone know that she "would still, have this surgery again, in a heartbeat!!". She has an AMAZING fighting spirit, which I am sure has brought her through all her trials and tribulations. Please, even if you can't be a donor, pray for her. I've found in my own life, that the POWER OF PRAYER IS AN AWESOME THING, and if we all lift our voices to the Almighty, He will, as always, be listening. Thank you so much for your time. I will gladly pray for Gwen--I'm sorry that I don't live close enough but I don't have that blood type anyway. I'm sure that God will take care of her. I am 11 days pre-op am doing ok so far but I know that I will be very nervous the closer I get. Tell Gwen that I am in her corner and may God bless you too for being her angel. Starla Daniels
