Looking to start a Support group at
I want to start with a meeting 1 time a month in my home and depending how many people we get to attend we can then meet at a local library.
My husband had RNY surgery 08-19-08 and I had my surgery 03-06-07.
The support group will be open to pre-op, post ops, any family members and anyone who is interested to come. RNY, Banders, DS, Gastric sleeve etc.

IS CHARLES TOWN VERY FAR FROM MARTINSVILLE? IF NOT, MY AUNT LIVES THERE. SHE HAD GASTRIC BYPASS SEVERAL YEARS AGO. SHE HAD A VERY ROUGH TIME DUE TO AN ALLERGIC REACTION TO ANESTHESIA.
ANYHOW, I AM SURE SHE NEEDS SUPPORT OCCASIONALLY.

I never heard of Martinsville but there there is a Martinsburg it is like 25 minutes away. It would be wonderful if I can get this together so she can attend.
I am sorry she had to go through all that. I hope she is doing good now.
