Hello WV board! My husband was just offered a job in Huntington and he will be moving there in a couple of weeks. I am going to stay here in Ohio until our house sells and then will be joining him.
Can anyone recommend any good surgeons in the area I can do my follow-up with? Any support groups?

Hello yes the one I used is Dr. Blaine Nease he and his staff are very kind patient and knowledgable about the surgeries. he is thru Cabell Huntington Hosp. and is on the board of OH. And the support group meetings are the first Mondays of every month except Jan and Sept. at the office building where his office is located.

Hi Crystal I am here in Kansas and cannt get into my name for this so I have been using my daughters..... she had her surgery yesterday and her husband says she is doing ok still on the sleepy side so we havent talked to her she may be home Monday her doctor is going out of town for the weekend
we are going to be coming home before Thanksgiving it is a long story so i wont bore you
How much weight have you lost? In the first two weeks here I lost 8 lbs the largest weight lose since the surgery I cannt exercise sooooooo mine is slower than normal plus I wasnt doing things right and the band wasnt tight enough so all my fault any way maybe I am getting on the rightt rack

Willa!! It is great to hear from you. I am glad to hear DP is doing well. And to hear you are loseing again. I bet those grand kids are a lot of exercise.LOL.

Exercise has been a challenge for me too. It seems like everytime I try to start something I get a new ache and the Chriropracter(Cracker) says I have to stop for a while. I actually got Wii-itis (pain in my shoulder from playing my wii). When the Cracker said that I thought it was a joke. So I am actually about to leave for the pool to do a little swimming. Opens at noon.
Tell DP someone in WV is swining chicken in her direction. She may get a laugh out of that one. Crystal

yes the kids are keeping me busy esp since Thursday my husband and I watching them until they finally release DP I am starting to get concerned I finally did talk to her a little today she sounded so weak and still sick at her stomach and this is day 3 I dont remember being sick at my stomach that long??? was you? maybe I just forgot
now they are saying Monday or tuesday will be her go home day
made our motel reservations this morning for Saturday night I hope all is ok with DP by then I will feel awful if it isnt but I truly need to get back I have an important dr appt the day before thanksgiving I am praying she will be home by then if not I dont know what I will do I guess stay and reschedule that appt but I really dont want to it is a scarey appt I need to go to....
