Hi Melinda first you have chose an excellant surgeon and staff they will give you all the support and info you will need that they can dont stop coming here what I mean is they will have you well prepared for surgery. It is scary no matter what type of surgery you have so keep asking any and all questions you can think of and read the post here to get even more info that you might not have even thought of. And while waiting for all the test start preparing yourself by drinking water, eating slower, I would stop eating breads and pastas, and potatoes any high carbs foods now. I am sure alot of people will give you other advice prayers willa
I went to the nutrition class and learned alot. There is a list she gave us to start now. What you suggested is on that list. Going without soft drinks, and not drinking during meals I think will be that hardest to conform too. I know I will be going through caffeine withdrawls, not looking forward to that.
Question: Since you have had your surgery and are able to eat normal foods now, how do you deal with no no foods being in the house?
Will post questions or feelings on here, hope others will do the same
Melinda
