Wish this board was more active.

So I am gonna post something.

Do you go to support group meetings? and where?

I go to them in Huntington once a month. I would like to find one closer and I would go there too.

How do I find out about those? And are they open to anyone?

My group meets once a month for one hour and I think they end just as they star to get good.

I too thought the same thing. I don't come to this message board very much because of that. Maybe if we start posting on here others will follow.

I REMEMBER THAT OLD SAYING.  IT IS TRUE, TRUE, TRUE.  IT WOULD BE NICE IF ALL LOCAL WEST VIRGINIANS TALKED MORE ABOUT THEIR EXPERIENCES AND WHAT THEY ARE DOING NOW.  I AM WAITING FOR MY INSURANCE TO GIVE ME MY APPROVAL SO, I WANT TO LEARN MORE ABOUT EVERYONE.

I have to have an ultrasound of my gall bladder and thyroid, blood work, 3 more months of supervised doctor weightloss, and then my papers are sent to the insurance for approval. I am so excited and scared at the same time.
