Hello,
The only suggestion I give you to get your mind set back is to starting reading all the blogs on here. Maybe join the wls you tube community. I love to watch all of the videos. If you would like to know who is the most supportive and gives great tips with their videos then send me a message and I will give you their names. Also are you attending a support group in your area. I attend the support group on the first Monday of the month at Cabell Huntington. Which has now moved to the New Building on 20th street of WLS Center.
I will be here to give your support any way I can. I am still in the beginning stages of my wls journey. Meet with the Nutritionist on Monday July 7. I am very excited.
Take care,
Melinda
have you had the surgery already? i am in charleston, and unfortunately going to the grocery store alone is next to impossible so physically attending a support group is not likely within the next few years i dare say... i have an appt. with dr. shin on the 16th so maybe i can get good advice then. im not familiar with youtube. my husband goes there sometimes for comedic purposes? what is that all about?
I have not had my surgery yet. I had my nutrition class today. Informative, yet scary because there is so much you have to change. If you go to youtube......in the search box type weight loss surgery vlog...this will give you some people to choose from....you can go to those people's subscribers and get plenty more to watch.....if you want to find mine I am gottaquilt....you can go to my subscriptions to find some of the people that I watch. I have seen some of the comics on there because I have two teenagers. I hope Dr. Shin can give you some support. My cousin had Dr. Shin as her surgeron and she sings his praises.
Another person you can look for on here for some information is Eggface, she has a website that is great.
