6 month check up
Well I go tomorrow afternoon for my 6 month check up (2 weeks early) and I'm finding it so hard to believe that my life changed 6 months ago!! Where has the time went?
When asked about surgery and the first few weeks out from it I'm finding it hard to remember is anyone else like this?
Over all I am a more happier person since having this done and I can hardly wait to see what the next 6 months bring (and of course how much weight loss )

Michelle,
Well, it went okay I was fussed at for not taking my vitamins (which I'm ordering today) and for not getting in enough protein something that I try my best to get in but it's easier said than done.
But on the good side of the apt I have lost 136 lbs
I go back in May for my 9 month post-op apt.
Oh I forgot that I had to run by my PCP this morning for them to drawl labs so I should know in a few days about those.

Congrats on the loss--136 pounds is AWESOME!! I'm at 120 lost myself but am also happy to say that I've lost 70+ whole body inches as well! Now if I could just get the pants sizes to drop more quickly! LOL
You are doing a great job! Got to work on that protein and vitamin thing though! Have you had much hair loss? I've been lucky not to lose any more than I already did due to the hypothyroidism.... I had my 6 mo labs drawn last week and hope to get the results on all of that by the end of this week. But, I don't see my surgeon for my 6 mos appointment till Mid March (a couple of weeks late for me!).
Keep up the good work and keep letting us know how you're doing!
Hugs,
Lea
