1st off Im very sorry you have suffered complications. I am also NOT judging you for telling your story. you have that right. I am also a patient of dr Wasco's. I also had lapband , had a port replacement and then finally band removal from a defective band. NOT the dr's fault.

I am now having vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy I have to say, dr wasco & the entire staff at MWBS have been awesome. caring, helpful everything I expected. I think no matter where any of us or anyone else goes there is always going to be someone who is unhappy. Im glad you found someone who you trust now. and Im sure he's a great dr. but I bet you would still find people unhappy with that dr as well for whatever reasons.

yes I remember you. nice to see you again. I havent been posting here much at all. Im going to see dr wasco this friday.  have you decided to go on to another procedure? how are you doing?

welcome..... I'm actualy from Michigan, but I go to theda clark, I have dr. wasco. Im very happy with midwest bariatrics.

maybe you can show your hubby this place. let him read some of the success stories etc.

 you'll be just fine. I can tell you just from the past experience of already having had the lap band, you WILL have doubts after and before.... but they will fade when you see that scale move and see yourself looking and feeling SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better.

oh my gosh I didnt realize you lived there in kaukauna... that is where my brother in law lives and my youngest son is in little chute. are you by any chance going to the teaching session for RNY this week? I am. we certianly have to meet some time when I come down that way. I live in upper MI.

Cynthia.. Im doing a revision because Ive already had my port replaced and now I cannot hold a fill at all. must be another leak somewhere. since my banding 8/2005, Ive only had an actually working band for a few months total.

just dont want to deal with it any more.

this lady is missing, she is from near me. her parents are people that I went to school with. Her husband says she was heading to San Juan, Puerto Rico -- but investigators say there's no record of her trip, no credit card activity since she left, and her cell phone has been turned off. Adding to the mystery, the sheriff's department says, is the fact that Grant and her husband argued prior to her disappearance from their home in Washington Township. And that her husband has stopped cooperating with police and hired prominent criminal defense attorney David Griem. In a letter to investigators obtained by WXYZ.com, Griem explains why he was hired and how his client will continue to cooperate: "Because of the tone of your Feb. 14, 2007 interrogation of Mr. Grant at his home... it is my humble opinion that it is necessary for me to provide a buffer between your department and Mr. Grant. Id love to meet some folks from here. I live in upper MI., but travel to GB , appleton & neenah for different dr's. is there ever any gatherings or would anyone like to meet for coffe sometime when Im down that way ??

Ive had Fibro, ( which is now called a disease) for years. I had liquid percocet post op. I actually had no restrictions for pain meds tho, as long as I could swallow it... but I am banded I didnt have the bypass. I had my surgery in august 05 and I dont recall having a flare up at that particular time. I have had alot this year tho. be sure you ask you dr ahead of time to prescribe whatever you normally take for in a liquid form b4 surgery so your covered.
