Topic: RE: Aurora Siani WLS support group Wed Nov 18th
Just got answer back this morning.
Yes, anyone can attend even if they didn't have Dr. Chua as their surgeon. As long as they know that most attendees have had surgery with him (just so they know that many people talk about him specifically).
Also this month is clothing exchange as well!
So anyone is welcome to our support group

Loving my new life and all the wonderful things that go with it, on to my next journey! 99 pounds down and about 10 more to go but it has been a heck of a ride...

Congrats on your approval! I am starting to get myself together for my upcoming surgery. I have found that GNC was quite pricey so I'm currently shopping around for other prices. I did buy some protein from GNC in the event that I don't find it cheaper elsewhere. I've recruited some family to help out around the house. Purchased lots of big comfy jogging pants to wear home from the hospital and around the house after. Right now I'm just focusing on getting the house in order so I don't have to worry about that when I get home from the hospital.

Topic: RE: Anyone know ?
well i had my consult of course, and meeting with him was really quick due to being only a consult, but i did manage to ask him how many surgeries he has done, and he has done well over 1500 surgeries, and he does require the rny, but he does not do the lap, he only does the open, he feel's as tho it's safer,, so I am well on my way I have to see the nut on tuesday, and the psy****val. on the 30th, then when I do get to see him again, i am hoping for a little longer of a visit, if not, I believe I will be seeking a diff. surgeon.. I just dont want to go through the nut, and the eval all over again.. would I have to, or can I just have the stuff faxed over?? Hmmm ..
