Dr Regan did my surgery on 08/04/2009 at 6:30 AM.  When I started on my journey I was 279 wearing a size 22, had unregulated blood pressure, needed to have knee surgery and was schedule to have back surgery.  When I was done with the six months pre stage that the insurance company want to see, I thought that it would be a while before the insurance would approve my surgery.  Mind you on my job it took WPS at that time about one year to approve this surgery, however on July 29 they submitted the paper work on July 31 the office was calling me to set the day for surgery which was 08/04 now I'm a size 9 and weighing in at 150.  Do you come to the support group? I haven't been in a few months but have to start again
I love Dr. Regan and the staff the only regret for me was what took me so long, oh by the way I no longer take blood pressure bills do not  I repeat do not have to have knee or back surgery.

I had the late Dr. Bradley Mays.. Now I am dealing with Dr.Regan, but I feel like its just being pushed to the side, like they did all they could do for me and basically told me to do whatever works for me, even if it weigh****chers!! WTH? I know deep down Dr. Mays would have looked into things for me. I know that I stretched my pouch, but I think that is not the only thing. I want a 2nd opinion. I think that I might go back seeing that I gained a other 11lbs since November and am 11lbs exactly away from 200lbs.
What doctors are good at doing revisions? What doctor and staff won't treat you like "oh well we did everything we could for you, now go away" I sorta feel like a number, that they got my money now I  don't matter no more....  I know that its a tool, but I have no restriction, and out of all this I got hypoglycemia, the other extreme of diabetes which I was trying to avoid in the first place because it ran on both sides of my family.... Any recomendations would be kindly appreaciated. I just want my restriction  back..... They have not even done test on me to see how bad things are.... don't  me get wrong, They are very helpful, and nice, but as the years go on, it just seems that the relationship drifts...

I had an RNY with Dr Chua in March.  You do spend alot of  time with his support team depending an the requirements of your insurance company.  They are very good.

Dr. Chua did my VBG almost 6 years ago. Thank God he did! I went to 2 other seminars from other doctors and none seemed as personal as he and his team were.  You first need to attend a seminar. They are held the first Wednesday of every month. You also need to call to reserve a spot because they fill up fast and the room is only for 100 people.  I am a speaker there, and am there every month.  His program is very comprehensive and has made the hospital a Center Of Excellence.  He is a fabulous doctor that, once you are a patient of his, you are always a patient of his.  He is not the "treat 'em and street 'em" doctor that will do a surgery on just anyone who walks through the door.  His team of psychologists and dieticians are fabulous and prepare you very well for this life long, life changing event.  Unlike other doctors, he cares about your success for the rest of your life.  You can read my profile blog which tells much of what I've gone through.  Please attend the seminar and get some great valuable information!

Be prepared to do ALL the leg work for them, and make sure you aware of exactly who has a medical degree and doesn't .  All of the places can be misleading, is the person you are talking with a real nurse or a sales representative?  The Physicians are great, but then after all they are the medical professionals.
