I have just joined this site today. I saw that you are scheduled for surgery on 9/25 and wish I knew when I might be scheduled.
I applied to UW Madison when attending their seminar and I am so anxious to get going. I have been talking about gastric surgery for over a year now and hope it won't take too long before I can start losing weight.
Does RNY indicate that you are having the gastric resection? I really want to communicate with someone like you who is just having the procedure.
Would you mind telling me a little bit about your surgery? I look forward to hearing from you.

I used to work at SL If you need a primary I would HIGHLY reccomend, Dr. Gupta, she is in the physician office building in Internal Med.

Yes we did! Sylvia found me and we sat together. It was a good meeting even though the speaker for the evening never showed up. At the next meeting I'll be able to go with the post-op group! YEAH!
I was with the pre-ops last night and it was pretty interesting but I didn't think our group leader should have been a group leader when he hadn't been to a meeting in over 2 years and doesn't follow any of the guidelines or eat in any way that I was told we would have to eat. So I didn't think he should be giving advice to pre-ops who know nothing. However, he still had a lot of good information to offer and could answer questions. I just wouldn't listen to him when it came to food.
I'm looking forward to meeting you next month. ;o)

I am going to Mexico for the VSG. I know some people have a hard time finding a doc after going to Mexico, and some have no problems at all. Anyone know of one in the Menominee or Eau Claire area ...any one?
