Thanks, but look at you. You are really looking good.
Not all of mine has been since surgery that seems to be going really slow for me.
But at least it is going. Have you been to the meetings?
I keep forgeting. I work part time now and by the time I get home I am exhausted lay down and out like a light for the nap I missed.
I know I need to excercise more something I have not been doing since I started working. How bout you?

Topic: RE: Cost of Lap Bypass in Madison
I think it was around $22,000 last year when I was there. I did have lap band though. Connie

Topic: RE: Any one with pre surgery diet help
Sorry don't know anything about Medifast other then my co-worker got very sick on it. Her electrolytes were very messed up. Is slim fast similar? It would be cheaper. What about just a supervised diet through the program dietican? Does he want you on a liquid diet for 3 months? That seems very long. Good Luck and let us know what happens.

Hi All...
Does anyone know the calorie content of Mickey D's New coffee drinks? The Latte and the Cappuccino specifically. I've been looking online and can't find any info. I'm a coffee freak and would really like to try them. Starbucks has the Skinny Latte's that are awesome. They use sugar free syrup and skim milk. Let me know if you have the facts or know where to find them.
Thanks... Shari

Heloooow Busy one : ) You look great. Nice pictures. Your face and everything has gotten so slim. Good job. The chair deal was a wow moment. Moments like that are so nice and sometimes you just have to pinch yourself. Don't be a stranger. Update us more often. It's always nice and fun to read your posts : )

Dear Denise,
Thank you for your good wishes. I haven't heard from the insurance company yet, but it can't be too long yet.
I too am sorry for that lady that had a bad experience. There are always risks involved. I am not interested in slandering anyone, but it is a nice feeling to hear from someone who has been in the same place as I will be. I am glas to know that you thought hightly of them all at the center.
Thanks for responding, congratulations on your success at well. I hope you are doing great.
Best wishes,
Jane
Topic: Any one with pre surgery diet help
Hi all, I met with my dr again and he said that I need to go on a 3 month (well 2 1/2 at this point) pre surgery diet. He wanted me to do pills but they make me sick, so he sudgested I do Medifast. That is too expensive for me. Do any of you know if there is a cheeper alternative to medifast? Please help.

Topic: Hello Peeps!
Heeeeelllllllooooooooo Some of my old Wisc. peeps and to the new ones!!!
Those who say life gets busy after surgery aren't kidding! I just wanted to drop in and say hello and see how everyone is doing. Its must easier than trying to respond to each and every message in my in box :-)
Hmmm... as for me... 6 months post op and down 90 lbs. I still struggle with being motivated to do exercise, but I do try. BUT in all fairness... I work 2 jobs right now (I picked up another to help out with the Christmas crunch!) So working 70-80 hours a week combined leaves me EXHAUSTED, and what little time I do have I prefer to spend with the kids and family instead of on the treadmill (can you blame me?? hehe) I did post some new pics...feel free to look at them if you wish.
As for the 'wow' moments... You know, I can honestly say I have only had ONE. Don't get me wrong, I notice different things, like my flexibility, being able to tie my shoes comfortably, personal hygiene is easier, pants size has dropped from 26 to an 18 with a belt.. but I have only had one moment that made me go WOW and made me realize how much I had lost. The first Packer game of the season we went to The Bar in Green Bay, just blocks down from the stadium. We like to go there if we don't have tix to the game because of the festivities and excitement. We went last year too. Well I hopped up into a chair (which was surprisingly comfy). I crossed my legs and started to wriggle in my seat. I was REALLY comfy and I knew I was dreadfully uncomfortable last year. Hmmmmm I thought. I started taking inventory of The Bar to see if they had new tables or furniture. No... hmm.. nothing looked any different. What the heck? OMG.. it was ME! That was the first time it ever really hit me... and good Lord it took me about 5 minutes to figure it out! All of the other things that I notice are very nice.. but to have a real WOW is very exciting.
Anyway gang.. I hope you hear from you and all your progress!!!!!
Hugs to all
