Topic: RE: INSURANCE
I'm in the exact same boat only reversed. My hubby just made me get rid of my insurance (Network) and I'm trying to find out whether his new insurance (United Health) will cover the surgery. I haven't found anything that says which insurances cover and which don't.

Topic: RE: OT~~ Real Estate School
I just finished school, I graduated with my Associates of Applied Science. My degree is in Business with an emphasis in Real Estate. I was going to just go through an agency and take classes here and there but I decided on a two year program that gave an actual degree. After my first semester (16 weeks) I'd taken Real Estate Fundamentals and Law and was able to test for my Real Estate sales licencse which I happily passed. I put off my Broker's class til my last semester so I received my certification to test for that recently. I graduated with honors and am MORE than happy that I went the longer route rather than just an 8 week course. I was actually referred to the school by a Century 21 agent. If you are not interested in a degree I would suggest that you work for one of the following in this order:

Shorewest
First Weber
Century 21

Good Luck!!

Topic: RE: anyone have Dr. Thomas Chua
Hi..
I had Dr. Chua 14 months ago. He has a great bedside manner and his team is very good. Every insurance compnay requires different things. I had 3 months of nutrition visits prior to surgery. This really helped me. I was taught what to eat, how much, etc... prior to just jumping into it. There is not a 6 month requirement unless your Insuarnce provider requires that.

My information seminar was in June 2007 and I had surgery Oct. 15th 2007.  Today I'm 118 lbs. leaner and very healthy. Eat an occational cookie to many : )

I'm doing better. Got all the crap out of the house and just like Lois took it to work and placed it in the lunch room. They eat anything!!! : ) Out of sight out of mind. Back on track for the most part.
Love those Fiber one bars. Think I also need to buy less of them. They do help me go though that much i can say.
Happy New year all.

Topic: INSURANCE

I am researching the lap band procedure.  I have great insurance thru my state job, but i am not sure if Network Health Insurance covers this type of procedure. I just had my husband get rid of his insurance- which was blue cross bluw shield... and i have been noticing that a lot of places accept this type.

Please help me.  I am nervous about even asking since i have not seen my insurance listed.

Has anyone used Network and been approved/ not approved?

Just say NO lol....  I dump on sugar so there for Ive been able to stay away from all the cookies and things wandering around our clinic.  I do have some sugar free candy here that doesnt have that many calories i found them at a health food store, I can usually have 1 square after that i get a very bad stomach ache if i have any  more, so it keeps me from eating to much of that stuff... i dont enjoy it like i used to.  Knock on wood i have not hit a trigger food yet. Have a great day take care.

Shari! I'm OD'ing on the caramel corn! I ate almost 4 cups throughout the day yesterday! I had to get rid of it, so I brought it to work!  People will eat everything you put in the lunch room!  I don't know what the deal is, because I haven't even gone through the holiday cravings! It's out of my house, out of my hands, and now on someone elses hips!

Topic: RE: Any WI peeps getting DS??
Me! I have Medicaid/Badgercare and I was told that they will cover the DS! I have one more Dr.'s visit to my PCP and then they submit to insurance. I am going to Dr. Engstrand at the Bariatric Institute of Wisconsin.

Any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
