I would never let an inexperienced surgeon operate on me again. I learned my lesson the hard way, being one of Kemmerling's first banding patients. He had done numerous RnYs... or so he claimed anyway. (I don't believe anything he says about anything.) I came out of lapband surgery all screwed up.
I'd choose a surgeon who has much experience so there is a lesser chance of complications. This is one area where you really, really want someone who has experience. It's your life, after all.

Dr Georgen is at Midwest Bariatrics at Theda Clark hospital in Neenah Wisconsin. He is a wonderful bariatri surgeon and also the lead trama surgeon. Im not sure if he does breast implants but he is with a group of doctors and I know one of them did breast reconstrutive surgery on my girlfriend so would definetly be worth asking.

Can you tell me what city this Dr. is located? I had RNY 10 years ago, I'm 5'1" and 111 lbs, with a lot of extra skin that I want to get rid of, I also need some breast implants, does this Dr. do that as well and what are the costs any of you have paid as I will have to pay out of pocket? I also am wondering how long any of you were off of work after surgery and if this Dr. has a requirement of not-smoking for a period of time prior to doing any surgeries...thanks so much!

I had my tummy tuck on May 1st and am feeling pretty good, that is a tough surgery, very painful. I still have some fluid buidup on my right side but seems to be getting better. I also love Dr Georgen, he did my RNY back in 2006. I dont know what other types of removal surgery he does. I had asked him about my inner thighs and arms and he does not do that. I had went to a seminar at the Neenah plastic surgery center and they do nice work, but insurance doesnt cover, good luck, where do you live in wisconsin?

. I had Dr Georgen do my Tummy Tuck and tighten my abs in 2010. I just LOVE Dr Georgen and his staff they are SO caring and nice and Dr Georgen tells you the TURTH he does not beat around he Bush about the pain and what to expect after, I LOVE my flat tummy (no belly button) now I want to do my breast,butt,thighs and arms but not sure if Dr Georgen does that so does anyone know if he does or any GOOD Dr that does please email me at [email protected]

Did you get my pvt msg? I didnt get yours and was looking forward to it. My email is [email protected]. I am not sure if I would do it again or not, it was really rough. Im hopeing when all is said and done I will be happy with the results, right now it is still ?????.I weighed myself this morning and I am finally down 6 pounds from the morning of surgery, the day I came home from the hospital I was up 5 pounds im sure that was fluid because I really hadnt eaten much. This is only MY opinion..If he has only done 15 VSG I would NOT let him touch me..There are plenty of other surgeons with a lot of experience..Dr Georgen did my RYN and three other surgeries..I honestly think he is the BEST.The RNY is totally different from the VSG.. Does he have seminars? I would suggest you go..
