Topic: I'm moving back to WI!
I'm originally from WI & moved to ND 5 years ago.  Aside from looking forward to being close to family & friends in WI again, I'm really looking forward to attending a support group.  It's pretty rural up here & the closest one is 80 miles away.  I just saw the post about the support group meeting yesterday - are these weekly or monthly?  Anyone with a WLS can attend a group, right?  It's not specific to surgery type?

THANKS!!!!

I saw exactly across the street from the valet parking where I drop my van off too.

The puppies are usually kept to there moms to 7 to 8 weeks. We got our Jena at 6 weeks. Our puppies been wean from mom and been eating dog food since they were 3 weeks old. They start off with having to have it wet to now eating it dry. I am going thru so much Iam's smart puppy food. As I am feeding the adult dogs the same thing. And good for the mom to have the same food for the extra vitamins. And figure why try to seperate the dog food just get puppy food. Max eats it without any problems. We are taking them outside now too.

so when is the next meeting?

Topic: Pouch
Hi all... The past 2 months I've been able to tell where my pouch sits. When I eat to much which isn't that often It feels really pronounced and weird. Is it common to be able to tell where it's located? I have all the gas movement in it too. Sometimes I swear I have a fetus and it's moving. Such odd movements and feelings. Just wondering if I'm unique to this or is it common.

Thanks... Shari

I love the chocolate calcium but my favorite is the cherry.

Right across the street from where you had PT is the heart institute. The corner building. Directly across the street from the PT dept. You were right there : ) Oh well next time.

Good luck with the pups. Do you keep them with mom for 7-8 weeks? Are they all spoken for?
See you next month.

Darn missed another one again. I couldn't figure out where it was. I was just there for physical therapy and look around to see if I could fine the heart institute. And look around the buildings while driving just never found it.

I am struggling with my weight loss this month. I am getting my 1 hour on my recumbent bike. Eating right but not getting in my protein shakes. I got get my butt in gear and order samples. I did not like some of the samples that I tried and ones that my dietician had given me. So far only like the chocolate flavor ones and the unjury strawberry sorbert. And I just ran out of my bariatric advantage multivitamin. So guess will need to order them or the celebrate ones. As dietician gave me a sample and I like that one. I have the BA mint flavor calicum they suck. But try a sample of the chocolate and cinammon. the cinammon was not to bad. And chocolate one I could not handle taking every day. I also need to increase my water again been slacking there as well. I guess had alot of going on with raising 9 puppies which will be ready to go in early June.

Topic: RE: Has anyone fought Medicaid insurance denial
JudiCare  is free representation for low income people. It does not cost a thing, but you'll have to do all the leg work for getting the lawyer. JudiCare will send you a list and you have to obtain a lawyer on that list for them to cover the cost. I did my interview over the phone, and never had to travel anywhere.
I've never heard of not being able to get legal representation to fight the state. That is not true. I do not believe that just telling them you are obtaining a lawyer will work. What happens if it does go to court and you don't have represntation? Then what? Never cry wolf.
I said it before and I'll say it again DO NOT GIVE UP! That is what the state want's you to do, so they don't have to pay for the procedure. They deny people all the time, but if you persue it and stay on their a**, eventually they will give in. It was very hard and depressing getting the "loser letters", but fight it.
You need to get your PCP on your side, have them write letters that this is medically necessary. My Dr. practacally had me dieing the next day. Dig the hole here I come. I laugh about it now, but holy crap, after reading the letters he wrote to state, I felt even worse!
Good luck with this and if you have any more questions, ask, I'll be checking back here soon.

I will check out JudiCare, thank you. But I was under the impression that you could not get a lawyer to help you with the state. I wonder if just telling them that I am seeking legal advice or representation would help. Can I ask what it cost to get that signed paper you mentioned? I am about out of hope here. I wish you a speedy recovery! Thanks for your response
