Thanks so much for the support! My husband has been super terrific through the whole 6 months of meeting all of the requirements and getting approved. We have become work out buddies! Who would have thought that on vacation we would have mapped out the Anytime Fitness Centers along the way? Hard to believe. I made my ground up chicken for after the surgery the other day. That was a bit depressing. I now joke about my chicken popcicles!  I am boarderline with my BMI if I will have to do 2 weeks of protein shakes or only one. I have 3 to 4 pounds to loose yet before Thursday am when I see the surgeon. I would love to know what their scale reads compared to mine!   I walked 3 miles yesterday, then gardened for 4 hours. Another 3 miles today. I haven't given up yet! I may have to stand naked on the scale!

At another stage of my life, I might have just come to check that house out!  My mom lives on the north side of Milwaukee in a high crime neighborhood.  Last time I visited her, I heard gun shots.  This is not a freak event, I've heard it more times than I actively remember.  I like her house/ comfy & we get along great, but after living in quiet ND for 5 years, I'm SO not looking forward to living in the ghetto again.  But, I guess I'll have to put my Big Girl Panties on & suck it up :}

i've never been to a meeting unfortuantly since i work second shift.  who knows maybe i'll make it there one day

When I was enroaching on 300, I felt the same way.  Not happy with my physical self.  When I was growing up, "The Sound of Music" was one of my all-time favorite movies.  I like to believe in one of the lines - when God closes a door, someway he opens a window.  It may not be tomorrow or next month, but your situation will change.  The future always has the potential for good things.
