I'm currently living in West Bend and am in the same place as you, as far as needing to ger back on track. I went to the YMCA out here and found out that I can get a discounted rate and am going in this week to get signed up. I NEED to get back into it. I too am suffering from depression and need this. If you were out here, I would say that I would be your partner. Good luck to you.

Topic: I AM BACK ON TRACK!
So I have been so off track for the past year and a half. Not sure what is sparking me to get back into tracking and journaling but I am liking it. (maybe the fact that my clothes are too tight and I am looking tired) but; I am back! So watch out world here I come!

Welcome Julie:
I don't know of any surgeons in your area. Maybe you could look up the hospitals on line and read about their bariatric programs. If one has the "Bariatric Center of Excellence" honor, I would probably tend to want to use them.

Fantastic for you! A 1/2 marathon! You can be very proud of yourself! I agree with you, it is alot to keep up with. Some of the forums are so very active. WI, is a bit slower. Everyone must be enjoying the limited summer months.
Topic: RE: Come on Cheeseheads!
We may be a quiet group, but I like to believe we are all active and don't have time for much computering! (Just kidding!) Not sure where everyone is hanging out, but as for myself, I'm guilty of not visiting here much lately. I like to get out and enjoy the weather befor the snow flies again! The nice part about the cool temperatures is that it's much easier to train for my next run! Only 62 more days until my first 1/2 marathon! With my dumb luck, it'll be some sort of a crazy heat wave that day and I'll fry my shoes to the pavement! Anyway, time to change the sprinklers! Have a great week!

I do live in WI. I am interested to find out if anyone does have the same insurance as I do since I work in Minnesota and my insurance is out of Minnesota. I have Health Partners.

That's good. You'll meet others who have the same insurance as you too! It's a great way to meet people and ask questions.

The classes are a requirement from my insurance. They require everyone who is having this surgery to take part in their Health Living classes. I also have to go to the hospital where I am having surgery to take their classes. I go on Thursday for my first informational class.
