We are going up in October! There is a Segway tour through the park which looks very cool! Pen. Players theatre is awesome!!! All of the shopping... I just love the Door! Have a great time!

I had my sugery in Marshfield by Dr. Wengert.  I have nothing but good things to say about him.  You probably will only meet him once before the surgery and then he'll check on you while you are in the hospital.  As for follow-up care, he leaves that up to his Physician Assistants.  Penny  is who I see and she is super nice.  Let me know if you want any additional information.  I've successfully lost 110 pounds, although a few are creeping back on, but it's my own fault.

I am sooooo excited, my first and only fun and exciting vacation for the summer, after my  2 months of hellish recovery!   We have a 70th bday party to go to on Saturday, but the rest of the weekend is ours.  So we are thinking of taking a sailboat ride, or going to the drive in.  We are staying in Sister Bay.  I was thinking about trying a fish boil-I figured I could at least have the fish!!!  Any other ideas????

How can you eat meat, potatoes and veges 2 days post. Wow. Was on clear liquid one day then I moved to full liquid. When I got home I am on puree for 2 weeks. I go see the surgoen and dietician on August 10th. I have bowel movements starting taking miralax theh stop it when I was going 4 times a day. Today had 1 small one so maybe I will need the miralax again to move it again. I am trying my oh yea vanilla cream that came by ups today. Not to bad wish i had my chocolate.
