We start Friday evening and continue Saturday morning until Noon. This is an event not to be missed! Regional and national speakers will take the stage for two days of fun, friendship and most important - information. On June 2 & 3, 2006 people from around the Midwest will come together at the Four Points Sheraton - Milwaukee Airport for the first Milwaukee area Obesity Help Regional Conference entitled, "Weight No More." People thinking about Weight Loss Surgery, patients who have had surgery, supportive family members and medical professionals will come together during these two days to examine a variety of topics related to obesity and surgical weight loss options. Local and national speakers are scheduled to appear. Friday night local surgeon Manfred Chiang, MD will show a video of bariatric surgery and discuss how both the RNY and Lap Band surgeries are performed. Nationally known motivational speaker and bariatric patient, Big Will, kicks off Saturday's festivities as he shares the story of his weight loss journey. Other speakers include plastic surgeon, Tracy McCall, MD; Registered nurse and bariatric patient, Lynn Christenson, RN; psychologist, Cindy Solliday-McRoy, PhD; and Monica Ganz, PhD. The event starts Friday at 4:30 pm with registration and hors d'oeuveres. Speakers begin at 6:00 pm followed by a social at 9:00 pm.
