I have to share!!!

I've come out of lurk mode to share: After being denied and losing an appeal, I'm finally approved for lap RNY on March 21!!! I'm so excited!!! I can't wait to be a loser like so many of you! I enjoy reading everyone's posts and learning so much from your experiences. I look forward to joining in the conversation more in the future. Ms Dfawn

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I just finished reading your profile, and we are almost exactly alike in this struggle. I have been fighting for a year now, and am just getting ready to submit for pre-approval to my new insurance comapny that we signed with in November of 2005 because they (according to the sales representative)DO cover WLS. Now, I am reading wildly conflicting reports on their approval process. I have been under my doctor's care for over 10 years, fighting obesity, but will that be enough? It is SO GOOD to hear of someone else that is getting closer to the loser bench!!! I will mark my calendar and say plenty of prayers for you as the time gets closer for an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery! Thanks for the inspiration, Dawn
