Looking for Pre/Post WLS Friends in WI!

Lori, really??? I did not even think to "shop around"! I'm feeling kind of stupid about that right now. I mean, I shop around for everything else, so why wouldn't I shop around for this? I'm afraid to ask how much you saved......ok..If you wouldn't mind, how much did you save? I'm afraid to look into other places now that I have a sugery date. I picked Barix Clinic because a friend of mine went there, and because that is the only surgery they do. I am certainly now hearing about all of the other wonderful places that perform just as good of a job. Thank you for the feedback! Lucy

I paid $19,200 to the hospital and $12,000 to my doctor, the doctors assistant and the radiologist. All other pre-op stuff was covered by my insurance. Lori

Hi all. I currently live just outside of Appleton. I am working on my 6 month diet, since my 18 months of Weigh****chers doesn't count for my insurance. I still have th phsyc exam. Then on to fight with the insurance. I looking to have midwest bariatric clinic out of Neenah to perform the surgery. My hubby and I attended their info meeting and we learned alot.
