Southern Wisconsin Support Group Meeting
Meeting announcement: Circle of Hope, the Obesity Help
Southern Wisconsin Chapter support
group, will meet from 6:30 -8:00 p.m. on Thursday
February 9, 2006 at Central Lutheran Church, 100 W.
Rollin St., Edgerton. February is the month we
celebrate love, so this month's topic will focus on
loving ourselves and doing loving things for ourselves
to help us be successful on our weight loss journey.
Email me at [email protected] if you need directions
or information. It's best if you park in the parking
lot on the side of the church (to enter drive north on
Main St. past Rollin St. - entrance is half a block
past Rollin St. on the left). Enter the rear "Sunday
School" doors right off the parking lot and go
upstairs. We are meeting in the lounge which is
halfway down on the left just past the church office.
Hope to see you there!

Hi Jen,
I was saddened to read of the loss of your brother. My heart aches for you and am in hopes that the pain has lessened even just a bit for you. You are a very important support factor for this group and very important to all of us. Please email me if you would like to talk. (((((((you))))))
I live in Janesville and my husbands insurance does not cover the WLS as well. He works in Whi****er at the VYMAC Co. I am paying out of pocket and have my consult at the Barix Clinic in Belvidere, WI on Feb. 9th. I was hoping that I would be able to make your next support group, but I am not sure what time I will be getting back into town. I will watch for the next meeting date and am looking forward to meeting you in person.
Please take care and let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

Insurance is not covering any of my follow up care. So, ultimately I have not seen my surgeon or had any labs done since I was 8 months out. I did get a discount for paying it all up front of 20%. I have been in negotiations with them, but they won't budge. They told me that "anything related to a non covered procedure is non covered." So, for the rest of my life if I would have any complications and they can be directly related to this surgery, I will be responsible for 100% of the cost.
Lori
Hi Lori,
this is I believe the closest support group to Beloit - about 25 mins up the interstate. We have members who have done RNY members who have done lap band, and south of the border people in the group as well. Some had insurance pay, others are self pay. We have just started a yahoo group and are uploading files as well and sharing resources as well. Email me at [email protected] for more information.
